Kasauli is one of the oldest hill stations, free from the pollution and the maddening crowds of the cities. It is known for its lush greenery and bountiful colourful flowers. The hills are covered with oaks, pines, rhododendrons and wild cherry and the ground is carpeted with green grass. This town is all about cobbled paths, quaint shops, and gabled houses with charming facades, neat little gardens and orchards. Kasauli is one of the best hill stations in Northern India with a calm and serene setting. In fact, it attracts tourists from different corners of the world and simply makes people speechless! It is built at 2000 meters, and the entire hill station is embedded by beautiful orchards, picturesque facades, alley paved with different kinds of cobblestones and even many eye catching gardens. There are so many attractions here that one would indeed be thrilled with the different places here.

The major tourist attractions are Monkey point, the highest point where the Lord Hanuman rested his feet on the way to get Sanjeevni Hill; Baba Balak Nath Temple, located on the Graner Hill top. It is a notion that couples visit this temple to have child;, Christ church, is Church of Anglican structure which was founded in 1844; Central Research Institute; Lawrence road; Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir etc. The nearby places which the tourists can visit are Sanawar, Dharampur, Subathu, Dagshai.
 Subathu
A little cantonment town has a Gurkha fort built in the early years of the 19th century, situated at an altitude of 1,437m. This cantonment town quartered the British soldiers at the time of British Empire.
 Dagshai
It is accessible by a link road, which diverts from Dhrampur. Dagshai is perched on a small hill and comprises of a military public school and numerous military barracks.
Sanawar
Sanawar houses one of the best schools in the country. The Lawrence school is almost one hundred-years-old and a major attraction of the town.
Monkey Point
The highest point in Kasauli called Monkey point is just 4-km from the Kasauli bus stand. The Monkey Point commands an excellent view of the distant plains of Chandigarh region and the river Satluj, tracing a silvery trail through the scene. A small temple is also situated on the top of the hill, which is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. According to a legend, at the end of Ramayana when Lord Hanuman was returning from the Himalayas after obtaining Sanjivani Booty or the Magical Herb, his foot touched the hill and thus the top of hill is in a foot shape. On a clear and starry night the gorgeous view of Chandigarh can be seen from the Monkey Point.
