People of the hill state are smart and they will give the desired response. “According to my calculations, the BJP will win all the four LS seats in Himachal,” added Baba. Holding Sonia Gandhi behind ban on his yoga shivirs, Baba Ramdedv said that Virbhadra Singh had no enmity with him and instead had friendly relations but why he behaved like this, only god knows. Blazing all guns Baba said that Congress has misinterpreted his statement to use as a political tool to anger dalit society against him. He said that he had used the word honeymoon on political lines but it was given a new twist. Despite that I apologized for the statement. Claiming that he is not anti-dalit, Baba said that Dalits and Swarns exercise yoga and take meal together in his ashram. “Apart from this we are also running a bigger langar on the name of Guru Ravidas and Rishi Valmiki at Haridwar,” he said. Denying allegations that his crusade against corruption was only party based, Baba said that there will be no partiality in action against corruption and black money. Action will be taken according to the law whether the person belongs to the Congress, BJP or any other party, he said.

Shanta amongst Best in Baba’s List

Senior BJP Leader Shanta Kumar found a place in Baba’s list of best national leaders at present in India. He said that Himachal no doubt is a small state but the political status of Shanta Kumar is big and filled with achievements and confirmations. He is of the stature of political stalwarts like Narender Modi, Nitin Gadkari, Rajnath Singh, Lal Krishan Advani, Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj, who are capable of giving a new direction to the development and politics of India. During his exclusive interview to Divya Himachal, Baba Ramdev also expressed his views about the politics and people of Himachal. He said that Himachal Pradesh is not only the most pious land of India but of the whole world and people of this hill state are equally pure and clean hearted ones. He said that when the whole world is running after materialistic things, the people of Himachal are far away from this trend. People here are so close to traditions and moral values that violence has no place in their nature and this is the biggest reason to place Himachalies on the top of the list. However according to Baba Ramdev a decline has been witnessed in harmony in last ten years in Himachal and for the same both the parties could not escape from the responsibility. Baba Ramdev said that his trust spent Rs. 8 to Rs.10 crore to construct an ashram at Saadhupul but the above said land was taken back by the government. He said that the aim of the ashram was the welfare of Himachal and its people and not to earn any financial profit here. He said that Himachalies would have come closer to yoga and culture bringing prosperity and happiness in their lives if ashram would have been constructed in this place.
