150 Karate Players Ready to Claim for Black Belt in a Historical Event

Almost 100 Karate players will stake their claim for the prestigious black-belt in a big historical event at Roots Country School, Baghi, Kotkhai on October 20. This will be an historical event in the Indian sports history. It will be jointly organised by Seigokan Goju Ryu India and Roots Country School, Baghi. The big sports event includes almost 150 Karate players who will compete for the black-belt and show their skills. After this test almost 100 players will be awarded black-belt. This will be the first ever event where almost 150 players will together compete for the black-belt and 100 of them will be awarded black-belt. General Secretary of Seigokan Goju Ryu India, P.S. Pawar claimed that before this event, no such event was organised by any sports organization in the past, where 100 or above sportspersons came together to get the appreciation and prestigious awards.  He told that they are trying to register this event in the ‘Limka Book of the World Records’ by inviting special guest VVR Maruti. In addition, 50 women karate players will also be awarded black-belt, which will also be a unique thing in this event, he added. This will be a unique event where women and men karate players will be awarded black -belt together
